Maya Grossman is the Second Bassoon of the Wichita Symphony Orchestra where she holds a Graduate Staff Assistantship in Bassoon at Wichita State University. As an orchestral and chamber musician, Maya is both a performer and arts advocate. She is the Bassoonist of the new music ensemble, The_____Experiment, and currently serves as their Administrative Director. She strives to commission and perform both classical repertoire and new music to explore the different roles a bassoon has in each ensemble while actively increasing representation in music.
